Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join the growing Ferny team — a leading provider of Gynecology and Fertility.

This is an in-person position only, so ability to commute to NYC is required.

Specifically, you will:

• Order diagnostic and laboratory tests, with approval of supervising physician
• Formulate appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans, write appropriate orders.
• Document all diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and other relevant information in patient’s charts.
• Participate in patient care rounds, teaching conferences and appropriate quality assurance meetings
• Perform the following procedures on patients: Limited sonograms, phlebotomy, Pap smears, STD screening, Endometrial Biopsies, and Sonohysterograms.
• Assist in operating room (first assist in minor cases)
• Attend and participate in weekly team rounds
• In the clinic setting, manage routine fertility and gynecology patients

We require:

• 2 years of experience in Women's Health
• Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant Certification
• Licensed by the NY State Department of Education
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to travel within NYC
• Availability during weekends
