Job Description

Assumes responsibility for the overall supervision of nursing care relating to both care of the residents and staffing, in cooperation with other members of the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate work of the nursing department personnel to ensure that all residents are bathed or showered as scheduled, that restorative services are integrated, that residents are turned, given medication, treatments, kept dry and otherwise given quality Professionals services on all shifts.
• Ensure that all residents receive adequate nutrition on a daily basis.
• Responsible for and supervises the execution of physician orders.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in the State of Arizona as a registered nurse and must show evidence of current, valid license.
• Experience in a long-term care setting required.
• Prior experience in a charge position preferred.
• Good communications skills necessary including fluent English, both verbally and written.
