Family Medicine, PC is a privately owned primary care practice located in Albuquerque’s Far Northeast Heights. Established in 1972, our practice has been caring for generations of New Mexico families with a continued commitment to provider-focused, patient-centered care.

We are seeking experienced, compassionate Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to join our team and help us continue to grow our practice.

We are currently considering candidates for:

• Full-time: 5 days per week

We are looking for providers who value continuity of care, enjoy building long-term relationships with patients, and are comfortable practicing in a busy primary care environment.

Responsibilities

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan. Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, and chronic conditions
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and appropriate treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and preventive care visits
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Facilitate referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities when appropriate
• Accurately document medical histories, assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR
• Educate patients regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Coordinate care with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification
• Current prescriptive authority
• Experience providing primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Comfortable working with an electronic health record (EHR)
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to effectively manage a full primary care patient schedule

Patient Schedule

Providers are expected to see a minimum of approximately 18 patients per day while maintaining high standards for quality, documentation, and patient-centered care.

Compensation

$90,000–$180,000+ per year

Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience, qualifications, schedule, and other applicable factors.

Location

Our office is conveniently located in the Far Northeast Heights of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This is an in-person position. Remote work is not available.
