Nurse Practitioner

Family Doctor Clinic is seeking a dependable, compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide overnight support for hospital inpatients and respond to after-hours clinic calls.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Responsibilities include:

· Responding to hospital calls and addressing patient care needs, including necessary orders.

· Responding to after-hours clinic calls and addressing patient concerns.

· Evaluating Emergency Department patients for hospital admission.

· Completing admission histories and physicals for patients admitted from the Emergency Department.

· Completing outstanding discharge summaries.

· Reviewing hospital charts to ensure comprehensive care and appropriate follow-up.

· Being available to respond to emergencies involving hospitalized patients.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgment, strong communication skills, thorough documentation, and a commitment to quality patient care.
