About The Role

The role owns a core product surface end-to-end - defining strategy, shaping the roadmap, and driving execution from discovery through launch. This is a hands-on PM position for someone who is comfortable digging into API architectures, data models, and technical tradeoffs while also articulating business impact to executives.

The role matters because it bridges engineering and business: the product sits at the intersection of complex technical systems and real customer pain, and the person in this seat is accountable for making sure what gets built actually moves the metrics that matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for a core platform area - prioritize ruthlessly across customer requests, technical debt, and strategic bets, and defend sequencing decisions with data
  • Write crisp PRDs and specs with clear success metrics, acceptance criteria, and edge cases that engineers can build from without ambiguity
  • Partner daily with engineering leads to scope work, break down epics in Jira, and unblock execution - including making real-time tradeoff calls during sprints
  • Run discovery: conduct customer interviews, analyze product usage data in SQL and Amplitude, and synthesize findings into validated problem statements
  • Define and track KPIs - activation, retention, engagement, revenue impact - and present progress and learnings to leadership on a regular cadence
  • Coordinate launches across engineering, design, marketing, and GTM teams, including beta programs, phased rollouts, and post-launch iteration
  • Contribute to long-term product strategy, including competitive analysis, pricing and packaging input, and annual planning

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-6 years of product management experience, ideally on a technical product (developer tools, data infrastructure, APIs, or B2B SaaS platforms)
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with engineers on technical topics - comfort reading architecture diagrams, discussing APIs, and questioning implementation tradeoffs
  • Strong analytical skills: fluent in SQL, comfortable with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing), and experienced with analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Looker
  • Track record of shipping products or major features end-to-end in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Excellent written communication - PRDs, strategy docs, and exec updates that are clear, concise, and actionable
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS, engineering) or equivalent practical experience; MBA is not required
