About The Role
The role owns the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a core platform surface used by thousands of enterprise customers daily — spanning API design decisions, data infrastructure tradeoffs, and the pricing/positioning questions that come with them.
This sits at the intersection of engineering and go-to-market: the PM will translate ambiguous business problems into prioritized technical requirements, work directly with engineering leads on architecture-level decisions, and own measurable outcomes rather than output.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap end-to-end for a platform area serving enterprise customers, from discovery through launch and iteration
- Write clear, technically precise PRDs and spec docs that engineering teams can execute against without repeated clarification cycles
- Define, instrument, and report on success metrics using SQL, Amplitude, and internal dashboards — make data-backed tradeoff calls on scope and sequencing
- Partner daily with engineering leads on technical tradeoffs, sprint planning, and unblocking delivery across a team of 8-12 engineers
- Run customer discovery and win/loss interviews with technical buyers and turn insights into validated product requirements
- Coordinate launches across product marketing, sales enablement, and customer success, including docs, demos, and rollout sequencing
- Present roadmap updates, competitive analysis, and business cases to senior leadership on a regular cadence
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of product management experience, ideally on technical products (APIs, developer tools, data infrastructure, or B2B SaaS platforms)
- Ability to hold technical conversations with engineers about system design, API contracts, and infrastructure tradeoffs without needing a translator
- Strong SQL proficiency and fluency with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Looker
- Track record of shipping products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with clear before/after impact metrics
- Excellent written communication — crisp PRDs, decision docs, and exec summaries
- Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
