Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and enforce HR policies; draft and update the handbook in partnership with legal
- Run performance review cycles and support managers on calibration, feedback, and corrective-action documentation
- Manage HRIS data integrity and reporting in platforms such as Rippling, Gusto, or Workday, and own compliance audits (EEO-1, ACA)
- Support culture programs, including engagement surveys, recognition initiatives, and team events
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in tech or another high-growth environment
- Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law, including Illinois and Chicago-specific requirements
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and strong data/reporting skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable advising managers at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Bonus: SHRM-CP/CPHR certification, experience with immigration sponsorship coordination, or equity/comp administration exposure
