JOB SUMMARY
The BI Analyst 2 supports FP&A's planning, reporting, and analytical activities that help drive business decisions across the organization. This role is responsible for building dashboards, automating reporting, and preparing data from Spectrum, OneStream, and Microsoft Fabric to support forecasting, performance reporting, and data analysis.
The analyst works closely with both Finance and Technology teams to support business intelligence needs, gathering, validating, and interpreting financial and operational data to support strategic initiatives and organizational objectives.
Through reporting, analytics, and process improvement efforts, this position contributes to the delivery of actionable insights that enhance business performance and operational effectiveness.
Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A working knowledge of reporting at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or related field; and
- 2 years’ experience in data analysis
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, build, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and automated reporting solutions in Power BI to help stakeholders monitor key metrics and identify trends.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, including budget-to-actual, forecast-to-actual, and trend analyses, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making.
- Collect, clean, and prepare financial and operational data from Spectrum, OneStream, and Microsoft Fabric
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise systems and databases using SQL, Power Query, and other analytical tools to support reporting and business initiatives.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other performance measurement metrics.
- Ensure data integrity and reliability through comprehensive validation, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and implementation of data quality controls.
- Identify and implement process and reporting automation improvements to increase efficiency and data quality.
- Identify and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements that increase efficiency, scalability, and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and provide analytical support for business initiatives.
- Perform ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and special projects as assigned.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong Power BI and Power Query skills, including data modeling and DAX fundamentals
- Comfortable working in Excel and Power BI
- Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting concepts, and financial performance metrics
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and joining data across systems
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data and reporting logic to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working with multi-source data and reconciling discrepancies while maintaining accuracy
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of corporate financial data
- Must possess strong human relation skills in dealing with other departments
- Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Self-motivated with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks within tight deadlines and the ability to work with minimum supervision
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

- Viewpoint Spectrum experience.
- Fabric and SQL experience

- Salary: $63,990 - $79,990

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Everus will consider remote, hybrid, and onsite work arrangements for this position.
- Background check, MVR and drug screen are required.
- Requires minimal travel (up to 10%) including in-state and out-of-state by car and/or plane with overnight stays.
