Pediatric Registered Nurse

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse to join our healthcare team for 9-hr overnight shifts primarily during 10p-7a or similar (overnight shift available 1-2 days per week). The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians/take verbal orders, experience with service plans updates is a plus.

Ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients through regularly assessing the needs of clients receiving nursing services in the home care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various nursing duties including catheter care, lab draws, tracheostomy care, GJ-tube care, medication administration, injection, Lab blood draws, ventilation, Central Line, TPN administration and pain management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and caregiver to teach and provide comprehensive continuity of care.
• Utilize anatomy knowledge and aseptic techniques in patient treatments.
• Provide care in areas such as respiratory health, laboratory services, and case management.
• Demonstrate proficiency in airway management for patient safety.

Requirements:

• Valid GA nursing license.
• Proven experience in nursing practices and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in catheter care, tracheostomy care ventilation, injections, lab blood draw, pain management, and airway management.
• Familiarity with respiratory health practices and case management.
