Front-End Software Engineer I (Hybrid) - Dearborn, MI

We are seeking a Front-End Software Engineer I who is passionate about creating intuitive user interfaces, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality web applications.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs, user pain points, and application requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications.
  • Create engaging user experiences using modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Architects, Back-End Developers, and QA teams.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and enhancements.
  • Participate in UI design reviews, product demonstrations, and agile development activities.
  • Perform automated functional and UI testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, optimize performance, and continuously improve application functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, cross-browser compatibility, and web best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, development trends, and modern UI/UX practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with:

+ HTML5

+ CSS3

+ JavaScript

+ React and/or Angular

+ Python

+ Database technologies

  • Understanding of responsive design and modern web development principles.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and cross-browser testing.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
