Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy and manual handling techniques, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all rehabilitation regulations, safety standards, and healthcare protocols, including CPR and basic life support procedures.
• Manage clinic operations efficiently, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient records.
• Develop and implement patient care plans tailored to individuals with disabilities or visual impairments, emphasizing anatomy knowledge and physiology principles.
• Oversee staff training on heavy lifting techniques, rehabilitation regulations, and working with diverse patient populations in acute care or long-term care settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design innovative rehabilitation programs that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Requirements

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist with experience in rehabilitation medicine and physiotherapy practices.
• Demonstrated leadership in clinical team management within a rehabilitation center or skilled nursing facility environment.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation regulations to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments requiring specialized rehabilitation services.
• Strong background in acute care settings, long-term care facilities, or skilled nursing facilities with a focus on patient care excellence.
• Certifications in CPR and basic life support (BLS), with ongoing commitment to professional development in rehabilitation medicine.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques during therapy sessions.
