Pay:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Our client a trendy Home furniture manufacturer and one of the fastest-growing furniture brands in the US are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently.

This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and sales analysis to optimize product availability while minimizing excess stock.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to align on demand planning strategies.
• Analyze sales data and inventory metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.

Qualifications/Experience

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, must have the ability to organize and manipulate data using formulas, pivot tables etc.
• 3-5 years experience in wholesale products with key U.S. retailers.
• Proven experience in demand planning or a related field within supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with sales analysis techniques to inform forecasting decisions.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.

Ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI
