About this role
ABOUT EMBOLIX
Embolix is a physician-led management services organization that partners with interventional radiology practices to deliver minimally invasive embolization procedures, including uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), genicular artery embolization and other musculoskeletal embolization procedures.
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a hybrid role that combines clinical operations leadership with direct patient care. Half of the role is identifying and fixing operational problems across our partner sites. The other half is running the telehealth care of UFE patients before and after their procedures.
The position is 100% remote.
CLINICAL OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate clinical workflows across partner sites and find ways to improve efficiency, throughput and the patient experience
- Act as the first point of escalation for daily clinical problems, including scheduling conflicts, pre-procedure clearance issues, care coordination gaps and communication breakdowns between sites
- Develop, standardize and maintain clinical protocols, order sets and patient education materials
- Track operational and clinical metrics such as consult-to-procedure conversion, time to treatment, complication rates and patient satisfaction, and report them to leadership
- Work with physicians, site staff, schedulers and referring providers so care is consistent across locations
- Support compliance, documentation standards and quality improvement work
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run pre-procedure telehealth consultations for UFE candidates, including history, review of symptoms and imaging, patient education and shared decision-making
- Coordinate the pre-procedure workup and confirm patients are ready for treatment
- Run post-procedure telehealth follow-ups: managing symptoms, monitoring recovery, recognizing complications and escalating to the physician when needed
- Educate patients about fibroids, treatment options and what to expect from UFE
- Communicate with referring gynecologists and primary care providers about shared patients
- Document visits accurately in the EMR
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active, unrestricted NP license and national board certification (FNP, WHNP or AGNP)
- 3-5 years of NP experience in a gynecology practice
- Strong understanding of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding and gynecologic workup
- Telehealth experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to improve workflows and solve operational problems on your own
- Excellent communication with patients, physicians and staff
- Ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed
PREFERRED
- Interventional radiology or procedural experience
- Multi-site or MSO experience
- Quality improvement or project management background
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Fully remote
- Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

- Paid time off
