Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled wound care services to a patient located in ZIP code 33156. The patient is English-speaking and requires wound care treatment for a wound located on the right malleolus (ankle area). Visits are scheduled every other day.

This is a per-visit position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide one-on-one patient care in the home setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing assessments during each home visit.
• Provide wound care treatment to the patient's right malleolus in accordance with physician orders and agency protocols.
• Assess wound healing progress and monitor for signs and symptoms of infection or complications.
• Measure, document, and photograph wounds as required by agency policy.
• Perform wound dressing changes and apply prescribed wound care products.
• Educate the patient and caregiver regarding wound care, infection prevention, medication compliance, nutrition, and safety precautions.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician and clinical supervisor.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team as needed.
• Adhere to Medicare, state, federal, and agency regulations.
