Physician Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves performing various medical tasks, including patient assessments, physical examinations, and assisting in treatment plans.

The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring a smooth healthcare experience.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories.
• Perform physical examinations to evaluate patients' health status.
• Administer IV infusions and assist with medication management.
• Provide addiction counseling and support for patients in recovery.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-hospitalization.
• Phlebotomize patients for laboratory testing as needed.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology to inform clinical decisions and patient education.

Experience

• Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments is advantageous.
• Experience in ventilating patients or providing respiratory support is a plus.
• Strong understanding of physiology and its application in patient care.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
