Job description
About this role
About Us
Elite Coastal Landscaping is a family- and veteran-owned landscape and hardscape company that has served the coastal Carolinas since 1988. We serve commercial properties, HOA communities, and homeowners from Ocean Isle to Pawleys Island, and we’re growing. We’re looking for an experienced estimator and account manager to help our maintenance division grow.
The Role
You’ll be the main point of contact for our maintenance clients, from the first site walk to the signed contract and beyond. You’ll measure properties, build accurate maintenance estimates, and manage ongoing client relationships so that accounts renew year after year.
What You’ll Do
- Visit and measure commercial, HOA, and residential properties to prepare accurate landscape maintenance estimates and proposals.
- Calculate labor hours, materials, equipment, and frequency of service to price jobs competitively and profitably.
- Present proposals to property managers, HOA boards, and homeowners, and follow up to close contracts.
- Serve as the account manager for assigned properties: conduct regular site inspections, address client concerns, and identify enhancement opportunities such as mulch, seasonal color, irrigation repairs, and plant replacements.
- Coordinate with crew leaders to make sure work is completed to contract specifications and client expectations.
- Manage contract renewals and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience estimating landscape maintenance for commercial properties, HOA communities, and residential properties. This is required. Please describe your estimating experience in your application.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including turf care, shrub and tree care, irrigation, seasonal color, and mulch and pine straw.
- Ability to read site plans and accurately measure properties.
- Comfortable with estimating software, spreadsheets, and email.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, including presenting to HOA boards and property managers.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that qualifies for our company insurance.
- Ability to work outdoors and walk properties in varying weather conditions.
Preferred
- Experience with landscape business software (such as Aspire, LMN, or Service Autopilot)
- Knowledge of plants and turfgrasses common to the Grand Strand and coastal Carolinas
- Existing relationships with local property management companies or HOAs
- SC Pesticide Applicator license or irrigation certification
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
