About this role

Software Engineer – AI & Workflow Automation | $40–$60/hour | Hybrid – Alpharetta, GA

Elevation Autism Center is a growing pediatric behavioral healthcare organization with 10 metro Atlanta locations. We are hiring a hands-on software engineer to design and deploy AI-assisted administrative automations and integrations that reduce errors, accelerate care coordination, and free staff to focus on families.

This position offers direct access to executive leadership, meaningful project ownership, flexible part-time or full-time work, and mentorship from experienced technical reviewers.

Initial work includes (1) incoming fax monitoring, denial/partial-denial detection and routing; (2) ABA/Speech referral, POC, diagnostic paperwork and signature tracking with approved automated follow-ups; and (3) website intake triage with qualified lead creation in Lumary and Monday.com.

Seeking either part time or full time candidate. Position is remote, but will need to be able to occasionally collaborate onsite at our center located in Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities: translate operational requirements into reliable software; integrate APIs and webhooks; build document extraction, validation, notification and exception workflows; write tests; deploy, monitor and document applications; follow approved security and HIPAA practices.

Required:

  • Strong Python or comparable programming skills
  • Practical REST API and structured-data experience
  • Familiarity with SQL/databases
  • Ability to show personally built software
  • Thoughtful debugging and communication
  • Preferred: FastAPI, TypeScript/React, cloud deployment, OCR/document AI, LLM APIs, authentication, and secure application design. Healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

To apply:

  • Submit a resume, GitHub/portfolio or demo, a brief explanation of a personally built application or API integration, weekly availability, and compensation expectations through application process.
  • Qualified applicants will be asked to complete a short online cognitive aptitude test.
  • Georgia Tech students, recent graduates, and other qualified early-career candidates are encouraged to apply. Elevation Autism Center is an equal opportunity employer.
