Job description

About this role

Overview

As an Aesthetic Registered Nurse, you’ll help clients make informed choices about aesthetic care while delivering attentive, safety-focused treatment. You’ll assess client needs, explain procedures, and provide services within your nursing scope and applicable protocols.

Your impact

Careful assessment and clear aftercare guidance help clients feel informed and supported throughout treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultations, review health histories, assess suitability, and document findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Provide approved aesthetic treatments, including botulinum toxin treatment and injection administration, using aseptic technique.
  • Monitor clients during and after procedures, respond to concerns, and coordinate referrals when evaluation beyond the clinic’s scope is needed.
  • Explain treatment plans, risks, and aftercare; answer questions and support informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records while protecting privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Skills

  • Required: Current registered nurse license and strong patient care, patient assessment, medication administration, vital signs, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology skills.
  • Required: Safe injection practice, infection control, aseptic technique, and clear communication; follow applicable clinical protocols and privacy requirements.
  • Preferred: Aesthetic or medical office experience, clinic experience, and familiarity with Epic, Cerner, or other EMR/EHR systems.
  • Additional nursing experience may be relevant, including ophthalmology, primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, critical care, geriatrics, dermatology-related care, or IV infusion.
  • Other listed experience - including cardiac catheterization, dialysis, pediatrics, long-term care, hospice and palliative medicine, trauma, and occupational health—is not specified as required; candidates may describe relevant patient-care, documentation, or procedural skills.

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
