About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) with Highland Care Center, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating patients' functional abilities and developing personalized treatment plans to promote independence and improve quality of life
  • Implementing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, motor skills training, and sensory integration techniques
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Documenting patient progress and communicating with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including assessments of physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating a variety of occupational therapy modalities
  • Implement evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to, occupational therapy interventions, sensory integration techniques, and cognitive rehabilitation strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures
