Job Description

Eastridge Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Front-End Engineer to develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end development skills, an understanding of modern web technologies, and the ability to collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces and reusable UI components.
• Translate design specifications into functional, accessible web pages.
• Build interactive features using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to integrate application functionality.
• Optimize websites for performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Identify and resolve front-end bugs and technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clean, documented, and maintainable code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and component-based development.
• Understanding of web accessibility, browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Git and front-end testing practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern build tools.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and front-end/back-end integration.
• Experience with automated testing and Agile development workflows.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and search engine optimization fundamentals.
