About this role
About East West
East West Sports Cards & Collectibles is building a new standard for the modern hobby: premium but never pretentious, rooted in real expertise, and powered by the energy of the collector community.
Through our growing network of retail locations, our online shop, and our live commerce channels that connect us with collectors around the world via Fanatics Live and Whatnot, we bring the hobby to life with sports cards, Pokémon and other TCG products, non-sport and entertainment cards featuring Marvel, Disney, and more, sports memorabilia, and our proprietary Elemence products.
We also offer in-store card buying and trade-ins, grading submission services through East West Grading, and trusted guidance from people who know the hobby.
East West is about more than what’s in the case or on the screen. It’s the thrill of the chase, the story behind the card, and genuine relationships between collectors and the people behind the counter and on camera. We honor the nostalgia that made people fall in love with collecting while creating a more connected experience built for what comes next.
From a first pack to a collection centerpiece, every East West experience is designed to feel welcoming, exciting, and worth coming back for.
Collect Something More.
The role
Design will be central to making East West’s next chapter unmistakably East West. The Graphic Designer, Brand & Marketing will partner closely with the Head of Marketing to translate brand strategy into a cohesive, distinctive visual identity and bring that identity to life across the company.
This is a hands-on role for a versatile designer who can move confidently from concept through production, balance consistency with fresh ideas, and create polished work across both digital and physical touchpoints.
You’ll collaborate with marketing, retail, breakers, content, operations, and other teams to connect our stores, live shows, campaigns, products, services, and collector experiences through thoughtful, recognizable design.
As East West grows, you’ll have meaningful creative ownership and a voice in shaping the visual systems, standards, and ways of working that support the in-house team. By helping build a visual world collectors recognize, trust, and want to be part of, you’ll contribute to East West’s goal of raising the creative standard within the hobby.
What you’ll do
- Help shape, codify, and maintain East West’s visual identity, translating brand positioning, voice, and creative direction into clear, practical visual guidelines.
- Build and maintain a usable brand toolkit – including templates, design standards, working files, and an organized shared asset library – that helps marketing, breakers, retail staff, and other departments create consistent, on-brand materials.
- Concept and design integrated creative for product launches and releases, live breaks and show promotions, card buying and trade-in services, grading submissions, paid advertising, social media, email, web, and other marketing channels.
- Design cohesive, platform-ready visual packages for Fanatics Live, Whatnot, and other livestream and video environments, including show thumbnails, title cards, overlays, lower thirds, holding screens, transitions, animated stingers, and other supporting assets. Collaborate with breakers and live-production teams to test assets for mobile legibility, platform interfaces, safe areas, and technical compatibility.
- Concept, storyboard, design, and animate original motion graphics for social media, advertising, livestreams, product launches, campaigns, and video content.
- Provide light video-editing and visual support for social and campaign content, partnering with the content team on larger video productions.
- Design high-quality print and promotional materials, including signage, flyers, inserts, mailers, in-store materials, and event collateral.
- Create artwork for retail environments, event spaces, backdrops, displays, and other branded experiences.
- Develop design concepts and production-ready artwork for apparel, merchandise, gifting, packaging, and other branded products.
- Collaborate across departments to understand project goals, gather the necessary information, and turn briefs or developing ideas into effective creative.
- Manage multiple assignments and timelines, communicate progress, incorporate feedback, and prepare and deliver files correctly for print, digital, motion, and other production needs.
- Follow brand, product, platform, and vendor specifications, including requirements governing the approved use of licensed marks and imagery.
- Stay current with design, motion, social, and creative-production trends, bringing relevant ideas forward while keeping East West’s identity distinctive and recognizable.
What success looks like
- East West has a cohesive, distinctive visual identity that feels unmistakably East West across stores, livestreams, social channels, advertising, events, products, and other collector touchpoints.
- Teams have practical guidelines, useful templates, and organized assets that make consistent execution easier while leaving room for fresh ideas.
- Creative is polished, accurate, delivered on time, and production-ready for its intended platform, format, or vendor.
- The brand feels elevated but welcoming, rooted in the meaning and nostalgia of collecting while built for where the hobby is going next.
- Marketing and cross-functional teams see design as a trusted, collaborative partner in strengthening East West’s brand and collector experience.
What you bring
- A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating visual design, typography, layout, concept development, original motion graphics, and attention to detail across digital and print work.
- Professional experience in graphic design, brand design, motion design, or a related creative role; typically three or more years, or an equivalent portfolio demonstrating the skills required for the position.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Working proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, including the ability to create original motion graphics, animate typography and graphic elements, perform light video editing, and prepare finished assets for the appropriate platforms and formats.

- An understanding of platform-specific and mobile-first design, including hierarchy, legibility, composition, pacing, and performance across social, email, livestream, advertising, video, and web formats.
- Strong organization and project-management habits, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and confidence collaborating with colleagues across different roles and departments.
- Sound creative judgment: you can maintain consistency, respond constructively to feedback, and recognize when a design needs further refinement.
- A collaborative, adaptable approach and genuine interest in helping build a brand system as the company grows.
- The ability to work full-time on-site in Naples and support occasional evening, weekend, or travel needs associated with events, launches, or on-site production.
