Full-Time | $40-$50/hour | Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM

East Norriton Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical services team. Our ambulatory surgery center is focused on providing safe, high-quality care through skilled clinical professionals, modern technology, and a team-oriented approach.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with operating room experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced surgical environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

• Provide nursing care and monitor patients throughout the surgical experience.
• Perform circulating and scrubbing duties during surgical procedures.
• Complete preoperative assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in patient conditions.
• Set up operating rooms and verify that instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready for each procedure.
• Assist with C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment as directed by the surgeon.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other members of the surgical team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow established infection prevention practices, safety standards, and facility policies.
• Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition promptly to the appropriate clinical team members.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent qualifying education.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Additional Experience We'd Welcome:

• Previous employment in an ambulatory surgery center or pain management setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) credential.
• Familiarity with C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment.
