Job Description

E8 Labs is seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that meet business and user requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in programming, analytical thinking, and software development practices, along with the ability to collaborate with a team to deliver reliable and scalable applications.

In this role, you will contribute to software development projects, improve existing functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and help maintain code quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement features.
• Test and debug applications to identify and resolve software defects.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development standards.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Maintain and improve existing software systems.
• Document technical processes, application functionality, and code changes.
• Support software releases, updates, and deployment activities.
• Evaluate tools and technologies that may improve application performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Experience in software development or a related technical role.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with databases, SQL, and API integration.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a development team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern web development frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud services and application deployment.
• Understanding of automated testing and continuous integration practices.
• Knowledge of secure coding principles and software performance optimization.
• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
