Job description

About this role

You'll be one of the primary people our customers interact with, both in person and remotely.

Job Summary

Diane Endeavors is looking for a confident, energetic, and highly motivated Client Experience & Marketing Specialist to join our growing team.

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role for someone who likes to take ownership, make decisions, solve problems, and get things done.

Our clients come to us because they need marketing materials, printing, direct mail, signage, and creative solutions—but they don't always know exactly what they need. Your job is to take the lead.

You'll talk with clients, understand what they're trying to accomplish, recommend the right products and solutions, coordinate their projects, and keep orders moving from idea to completion.

Graphic design skills are required, but this is not primarily a graphic design position. You should be comfortable working in Adobe Creative Suite and making professional designs, edits, and layouts quickly. However, the larger focus of this position is working with customers, managing projects, recommending solutions, generating sales, and making sure things get finished.

Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

About the Role

This position is equal parts:

  • Graphic Designer
  • Customer Service Representative
  • Marketing Consultant
  • Project Coordinator
  • Print Production Associate

A typical day might include:

  • Helping a Realtor decide what type of direct mail campaign to send
  • Recommending additional products that would make a client's marketing campaign more effective
  • Creating or editing a postcard while the customer sits beside you
  • Responding to several incoming emails, calls, and customer requests
  • Following up on open projects and keeping customers moving toward a decision
  • Coordinating multiple orders with different deadlines
  • Preparing files for production, printing projects and finishing them on the print production equipment.
  • Jumping in to solve an unexpected problem when a project changes at the last minute

There is a lot happening at once. Priorities can change quickly, and customers often need answers immediately.

If you like a slow, highly structured environment where you work on one project at a time, this probably won't be the right fit.

If you enjoy momentum, variety, responsibility, working with people, solving problems, and checking projects off your list, you'll probably enjoy working here..

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Service & Communication

  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers
  • Respond quickly and professionally to inbound requests
  • Manage multiple projects and customer conversations at once
  • Notify customers when orders are complete and ready for pickup
  • Create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish

Design & Creative Work

Design is part of the position, but it is not the primary focus of the role.

You should already have the technical design skills necessary to:

  • Create and edit postcards, flyers, brochures, signs, business cards, magnets, and other marketing materials
  • Customize existing templates
  • Create straightforward designs from scratch
  • Make quick revisions while working directly with a customer
  • Prepare professional, print-ready files
  • Proof your work for accuracy

Sales & Product Recommendations

Sales are an important part of this position.

We're not looking for someone who uses aggressive sales tactics. We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking the lead in a conversation, making recommendations, and asking for the business.

You'll be expected to:

  • Learn our products and services so you can confidently recommend them
  • Listen to customer needs
  • Make thoughtful recommendations
  • Suggest upgrades and value-adds when appropriate
  • Upsell products that genuinely help the customer achieve their goals
  • Create a sales experience that builds long-term relationships and repeat business

Print Production & Operations

  • Prepare files for production
  • Learn our digital printing and finishing equipment
  • Print, trim, package, and prepare orders
  • Complete orders from start to finish with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain organized files and project workflows
  • Learn and use our order management and invoicing systems

No previous print production experience is required. We'll teach you our equipment, processes, products, and production workflow.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with Canva
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence speaking directly with customers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
  • Comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently
  • Willingness to learn new products, systems, and processes

A Huge Plus

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous customer service or account management experience
  • Experience working with small-business owners or Realtors
  • Experience in marketing, advertising, printing, or direct mail
  • Experience managing projects with short turnaround times

You'll Probably Be a Great Fit If You...

  • Are naturally driven and action-oriented
  • Like being busy and having several things happening at once
  • Enjoy talking with customers and building relationships
  • Are confident making recommendations
  • Don't need someone checking behind you to keep projects moving
  • Get satisfaction from finishing things
  • Enjoy having responsibility and ownership
  • Can switch quickly between a customer conversation, a design, an email, and a production issue
  • Like learning how a business works instead of staying inside one narrowly defined role
  • See something that needs to be done and take care of it

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • Turn customer inquiries into completed orders
  • Build strong relationships with repeat clients
  • Confidently recommend products and marketing solutions
  • Increase sales by identifying useful opportunities for customers
  • Keep projects moving without constant supervision
  • Handle multiple priorities without losing track of details
  • Solve problems quickly
  • Produce clean, professional design work
  • Become highly knowledgeable about our products and services
  • Take ownership of the customer experience from beginning to end

If you're looking for a role where you can work with people, make decisions, solve problems, sell useful products, and see the results of your work every day, we'd like to meet you.

Please anwser pre screening questions.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
