Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Full Stack Developer role based in Suitland, MD. The Full Stack Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across the front-end and back-end, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Daily responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and optimizing APIs, integrating databases and third-party services, and writing clean, maintainable code.

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions. The developer will help improve existing systems, support deployments, and ensure that solutions meet client expectations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong front-end development skills, such as experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Robust back-end development capabilities, including proficiency in server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Java, C#, or Python) and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with databases and data management, such as relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB).
• Knowledge of software engineering practices, including version control (Git), unit and integration testing, code review processes, and secure coding standards.
• Understanding of cloud, infrastructure, and deployment tools, such as AWS or Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• Relevant experience in full stack development for enterprise or government clients is a plus; familiarity with healthcare or public sector environments is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
