**Overview**The Department of Rehab Medicine seeks a part\-time licensed Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient academic hospital setting. Be a part of a large rehab team in a leading healthcare facility, and assist patients in developing, improving, and recovering the necessary skills needed to perform their daily activities after surgery, illness, or injury.

Serving the admitted patients of the hospital, our inpatient rehab team covers pediatrics to geriatrics and supports numerous service lines.

Prior experience in pediatrics and/or ICU is preferred, but all are encouraged to apply.

This is a part\-time, 24 hours/week, benefitted position.

**Responsibilities*** Evaluates referred patients, and determines care needs.

  • Provides follow up treatments and education to patients and families.
  • Collaborates with team members regarding recommendations and discharge needs of patients.
  • Completes and maintains necessary documentation on services provided.
  • Adheres to state, hospital, and professional standards.
  • Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in\-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs.
  • Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping. Participates in compliance audits.

**Qualifications*** Bachelors/Masters Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Hampshire

**Required Licensure/Certifications**

\- New Hampshire licensure required \- BLS certified \- Successful passage of national certification examination required
