About this role

Daniela Trucking & Grading Corp. | South Florida

Build relationships. Win work. See projects through.

Daniela Trucking & Grading Corp. (DTG) is looking for a motivated, organized Construction Sales & Project Managerwho can develop new business, turn opportunities into approved projects, and keep customers informed from the first conversation through project completion.

We provide trucking, aggregate supply, excavation, grading and related site services across South Florida. Our customers include contractors, builders, property owners and equestrian facilities.

This role is ideal for someone who understands construction, enjoys selling, and takes ownership of customer relationships and project follow-through.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will develop new and repeat business, work with our estimating team to prepare proposals, and coordinate assigned projects through closeout.

You will stay closely involved with customers while working alongside Operations, which manages scheduling, dispatch, crews and field execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate new business: Identify opportunities, prospect potential customers, build referral relationships and grow existing accounts.
  • Understand the project: Meet with customers, visit sites and gather the information needed to define scope, requirements and expectations.
  • Work with estimating: Review scope, quantities, resources and budgets with our estimating team, and obtain management approval before presenting quotes.
  • Follow up and close: Present proposals, answer questions, address concerns and consistently move opportunities toward a decision.
  • Coordinate project readiness: Confirm customer approvals, site access and other requirements with Operations, identifying gaps before they affect the job.
  • Manage customer communication: Provide updates, document commitments, resolve concerns and obtain approval for changes before additional work begins.
  • Track project performance: Review estimated versus actual costs and hours with Operations, and help identify improvements.
  • Support accurate billing: Provide complete closeout information and confirm that approved scope changes are documented.
  • Keep systems current: Use HubSpot, LMN and LeanScaper consistently to track opportunities, follow-ups, project information and next steps.
  • Support safe, quality work: Communicate site concerns promptly and follow company processes.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated success in construction sales, business development or a related customer-facing role.
  • Experience with excavation, grading, trucking, aggregates, sitework, hardscape or similar services.
  • The ability to understand project scope and discuss proposals confidently with customers and the estimating team.
  • Strong follow-up habits and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and active projects.
  • Clear communication, sound judgment and a practical approach to solving problems.
  • Comfort discussing budgets, job costs and profitability.
  • Experience using a CRM and willingness to follow established systems and processes.
  • A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to customer sites throughout our service area.

Experience with HubSpot, LMN or LeanScaper is an asset.

Who Will Succeed Here?

You are proactive about finding work, disciplined about following up and dependable about delivering on commitments. You can build trust with customers, collaborate with estimating and Operations, and keep the details organized as a job moves from opportunity to completion.

To apply, submit your résumé and a brief introduction outlining your relevant sales and construction experience. Please highlight the types of projects you have sold or coordinated and the results you achieved.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
