Director of Product Management (Investment Technology & AI) – Boston, MA

Daley And Associates is currently seeking candidates for a Product Management Director for AI and Investment Technology with a leading financial services client.

This individual will serve as a key connection point between investment professionals and technology, helping identify business needs and deliver solutions across investment systems, AI, automation, data, and workflow improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an investment management or financial services environment and a strong background in product management and technology implementation. This is a highly business-facing role requiring someone who can work directly with investment professionals while partnering with technical teams to deliver solutions.

This is a hybrid position in Boston (3-4 days a week) and pays a range of $200-250K.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for technology products supporting investment professionals.
  • Partner directly with investment teams to understand requirements, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into clear product priorities and technology solutions.
  • Manage technology initiatives through requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and adoption.
  • Evaluate existing investment systems and workflows and identify opportunities for modernization.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies across investment and business processes.
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of AI-enabled tools and automated workflows.
  • Coordinate initiatives across investment teams, technology, operations, data, and external vendors.
  • Lead product demonstrations, user testing, training, and rollout of new technology capabilities.
  • Gather user feedback and use it to drive product enhancements and future priorities.
  • Ensure solutions align with internal security, data, compliance, and technology standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong product management experience within investment management, asset management, private markets, financial services, or a similar environment.
  • Experience working directly with investment professionals or other highly analytical business users.
  • Proven ability to manage technology initiatives from initial requirements through implementation and adoption.
  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, and emerging technology and how these capabilities can be applied to business workflows.
  • Experience evaluating and improving existing systems, applications, and business processes.
  • Ability to effectively translate between business users and technical teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise technology platforms such as investment systems, CRM, document management, collaboration, data, or productivity tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within private markets or investment management.
  • Hands-on exposure to generative AI, AI agents, workflow automation, scripting, or low-code/no-code technologies.
  • Experience managing third-party technology vendors or external development resources.
  • Experience leading technology adoption, training, and change-management initiatives.
