Junior Accountant (Part-time with possibility to become Full-time)

Position

Junior Accountant (Part-time) Please note that this role has a possibility into becoming a full-time job.

Hours

Minimum 30 hours per week

Work Arrangement: In-office

Schedule: Flexible scheduling may be available depending on business needs.

Duties:

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assist with month-end closing procedures
• Assist with annual audits and preparation of supporting schedules
• Support the accounting team with various financial and administrative tasks
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

• Part-Time: between $20 - $25 per hour.

Compensation negotiable based on experience and qualifications

• If employment becomes Full-Time: $50,000 – $55,000 per year
