Marketing Specialist Japan (m/f/d)

Based in Kobe, Japan

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate local marketing activities and implement campaigns in close cooperation with the Japanese sales team, distribution partners, and global marketing colleagues.
• Create and adapt print and digital marketing materials for the Japanese market, ensuring consistent branding. Coordinate design, print-ready artwork, and production with external agencies and printing suppliers.
• Translate and localize marketing and product documents, coordinating technical review and approval with the relevant product and regulatory teams. Maintain an organized library of current, approved materials for sales and distribution partners.
• Plan, create, and publish content for the Japanese website and social media channels, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Create and edit product, training, and promotional videos, and adapt global video content for Japan, including Japanese subtitles.
• Take responsibility for planning, organizing, and executing exhibitions and events, including marketing materials, supplier coordination, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
• Record and track leads in the CRM system, coordinate their handover to sales, and evaluate campaign and event results to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least two years of hands-on marketing experience; experience in the dental, healthcare, or technology industry is an advantage.
• Practical experience in creating print and digital marketing materials, including preparing print-ready artwork.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, together with practical video-editing skills in Premiere Pro or comparable software.
• Experience in website content management, social media, and the translation or localization of marketing content.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage several activities simultaneously.
• A proactive, creative, and detail-oriented approach, combined with the ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
• Native-level Japanese with excellent writing and editing skills, and business-level English for communication with international colleagues.
• Confident use of standard business software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
