We are seeking a
Product Manager
to lead planner enablement strategy and execution for Cvent’s Attendee Hub, reporting to the Director of Product Management. You will own the roadmap and outcomes for a suite of AI-powered experiences, anchored in the Cvent Assistant, that help event planners accomplish their jobs faster and with greater confidence.
You will run a dedicated sprint team and partner closely with engineering, design, and data science to define what gets built, why it matters, and whether it’s working.
In This Role, You Will
- Own the end-to-end roadmap and execution for planner-facing AI experiences in Attendee Hub, extending the Cvent Assistant across configuration, designer, and core workflow surfaces.
- Embed AI as a default lens in discovery, asking how AI improves the job to be done before writing requirements.
- Own end-to-end development of AI-powered features, defining what “good” looks like through structured evals: building eval datasets, writing LLM-as-judge prompts, and monitoring quality in production.
- Use AI fluently in your daily PM work for research, synthesis, prototyping, and analysis, and model that behavior for the team.
- Run continuous discovery: weekly customer conversations, early assumption testing, and working prototypes rather than slide decks.
- Make prioritization decisions using Mixpanel, Sigma, and ProductBoard, answering your own questions rather than waiting on analyst support.
- Lead a dedicated sprint team, running backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery cadence.
- Write short, opinionated specs paired with working prototypes and evals, with clear acceptance criteria ready before sprint start.
- Act as the single point of accountability for product decisions in your domain, surfacing deviations with a proposed remedy.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on go-to-market launches and post-release adoption.
Here’s What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Experience designing and shipping AI-powered features, including hands-on work with prompt engineering and evals.
- Fluency with AI prototyping tools (such as Lovable, v0, Claude, or Cursor) to build working artifacts that inform discovery.
- Proficiency with analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Sigma, Pendo, or similar), comfortable defining KPIs and making evidence-based decisions without analyst support.
- Proven ability to run your own customer interviews and synthesize feedback directly into product direction.
- Experience partnering with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment, with a solid grasp of software development and system design.
- Exceptional communicator who writes direct, clear recommendations backed by reasoning.
- Self-starter who moves on ambiguous problems without waiting for direction and brings options, not just problems.
