This pivotal role offers the opportunity to drive the design, analysis, and manufacturing of cutting-edge mechanical systems and components.

As a key contributor, you will leverage your extensive expertise in mechanical engineering principles, advanced CAD modeling, and system design to develop robust solutions that meet stringent industry standards. Your leadership will ensure the successful execution of projects from conception through production, fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the mechanical design process utilizing advanced CAD software to create detailed 3D models, mechanical drawings, and schematics for innovative products.
  • Conduct tolerance analysis and mechanical detail drawings to ensure precision manufacturing and assembly processes align with project specifications.
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation techniques to validate mechanical integrity and optimize designs for performance and durability.
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure timely delivery of engineering product development initiatives.
  • Utilize root cause analysis methodologies to troubleshoot mechanical failures or performance issues, implementing corrective actions effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality—to integrate system design elements seamlessly into comprehensive solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of ASME codes & standards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and building information modeling (BIM) tools to uphold industry compliance and quality benchmarks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role, emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and innovation in mechanical systems.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on mechanical product development.
  • Proven expertise in project management including project scheduling, resource planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Strong background in mechanical drafting, 3D modeling for product design, and mechanical design using CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.
  • Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and system design methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues within complex systems.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines and manufacturing teams.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced certifications or experience in quantum engineering is a plus.

Join us to lead innovative mechanical engineering projects that shape the future of technology! Your expertise will be instrumental in designing resilient systems while advancing your career within a forward-thinking organization dedicated to excellence and continuous growth.
