Registered Nurse (RN) — Part-Time Independent Contractor (1099)

ABOUT CULVER PRIMARY

Culver Primary is a direct primary care (DPC) practice in Culver City dedicated to personalized, unhurried, relationship-based healthcare. Our membership model removes insurance barriers so our care team has the time to truly know every patient. We are growing and looking for a motivated, people-oriented RN to join our team part-time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a part-time Registered Nurse on a 1099 independent contractor basis. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role that supports the physician and care team across clinical operations, patient communication, and aesthetic services. No two days look exactly the same — ideal for an RN who thrives in a small, autonomous environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Support & Care Coordination

• Triage patient calls and messages and communicate urgent concerns to the physician
• Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, lab results, and medication refill requests
• Support patients with care plan education, preventive health guidance, and chronic disease management under physician direction
• Perform IV infusions

Aesthetic Services — Training Provided

• Train and become proficient in laser hair removal procedures and radiofrequency skin tightening
• Perform laser aesthetic treatments under established safety protocols
• Maintain proper patient consent documentation and post-procedure care instructions
• Opportunity to expand into additional aesthetic services as the practice grows

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Comfortable working in an outpatient, clinic, or ambulatory care setting
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and proactively collaborate with the physician

Preferred:

• Experience in a primary care, DPC, concierge, or small independent practice setting
• Prior experience or interest in aesthetics or laser procedures

COMPENSATION

$40–$60/hour + commission, commensurate with experience.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, malpractice insurance, and benefits. Culver Primary will provide full training on all aesthetic services offered at the practice.
