Job Summary

Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) located in Hawaii, this position involves evaluating and re-evaluating patients in outpatient or inpatient settings. The role requires planning and implementing therapeutic physical therapy programs according to physician prescriptions, managing a full caseload, and making timely re-evaluations based on insurance authorizations.

The position involves working during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

Job Details

• Position requires Hawaii licensure prior to start date; candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years' work experience in outpatient and acute inpatient adult settings.
• Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Red Cross.
• The work schedule is Days, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as needed based on hospital operations.
• Equipment utilized in the department includes EMR Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
• Candidate must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
• Position urgency is listed as normal.
