**About Covelop, Inc. :**
Founded in 2003, Covelop, Inc. is an all\-inclusive real estate development company managing the entire life cycle of the development process — from acquisition to disposition — across California's Central Coast and beyond.
With over two decades of local knowledge and relationships, we've built a reputation for high ethical standards, community involvement, and projects that create positive social and environmental impacts. Our portfolio spans hospitality, property management, and real estate development. We're proud to be a **B Corp with deep roots in San Luis Obispo County** and an active role in the community that has supported our growth.
**About the Role:**
Covelop is looking for a **Graphic Designer** to be responsible for the design output and visual consistency of our growing hospitality portfolio on California's Central Coast.
This is a hands\-on, production\-focused role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working across multiple brands, and can move quickly without sacrificing quality.
You'll create the flyers, signage, menus, print advertising, and digital assets our properties rely on — including **The Anderson Paso, Avila Beach Golf Resort, Avila Winery, and Fortress Custom Crush** — while keeping each brand distinct and maintaining a consistent standard across the portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Design \& Production:
- Design print materials across the portfolio, including flyers, posters, event signage, menus, table tents, rack cards, banners, merchandise, and other promotional materials.
- Build digital assets for social media, email campaigns, websites, and print advertising.
- Prepare files for print production, coordinate with print and fabrication vendors, and review proofs.
- Support photography and light video capture at properties and events as needed.
Brand \& Asset Management
- Apply and maintain brand standards for each property so that individual brands remain distinct while meeting portfolio\-wide quality standards.
- Organize and maintain the shared asset library, including logos, photography, templates, and working files, ensuring assets are properly versioned and easy to find.
- Build reusable templates for recurring needs so property teams can move quickly on routine requests.
Web \& Digital
- Update and maintain website content across portfolio sites, including landing pages, event listings, image galleries, and menus.
- Keep digital content current with active promotions and event calendars.
Collaboration \& Coordination
- Take direction from property leadership and turn rough concepts into polished, finished work on deadline.
- Manage an intake queue of design requests across properties and set realistic turnaround expectations.
- Communicate project status, workload, and upcoming deadlines to leadership on a regular cadence.
Qualifications
- 2\+ years of graphic design experience, in\-house or agency.
- Strong portfolio showing both print and digital work — real production pieces, not just concepts.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including **InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop**, and working knowledge of Canva.
- Solid grasp of print production fundamentals, including bleeds, color modes, resolution, and vendor specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple brands and competing deadlines without losing quality.
- Clear communicator who takes feedback well and iterates quickly.
- Local to San Luis Obispo County; this is an **on\-site role** with regular travel between properties in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, and Avila Beach.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for property events.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- CMS experience, including WordPress, Squarespace, or Shopify.
- Experience designing for multiple brands, venues, or hospitality concepts.
- Photography or light video production skills.
- Familiarity with food \& beverage, event, or winery marketing.
- Additional experience with Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
**What Success Looks Like:**
- Designs and projects are delivered on time and against requested deadlines.
- Design requests across the portfolio are managed efficiently with appropriate turnaround times.
- Print materials are produced accurately with minimal proof errors or reprints.
- Brand standards are consistently maintained across properties.
- The shared asset library is complete, organized, and easy for property teams to use.
**Physical Requirements:**
This role is primarily desk and computer\-based work. The position occasionally requires lifting and carrying signage and event materials weighing up to 25 pounds, installing signage on site, and moving between indoor and outdoor property locations.
