Senior Accountant | Houston, TX (Galleria Area) | Up to $95K | Hybrid We’re Hiring – Senior Accountant! Connect Search is partnering with a growing healthcare organization in the Galleria area of Houston seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its accounting team!

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical accounting skills who enjoys taking ownership, collaborating with a team, and contributing to a fast-paced environment. Position Highlights:

Compensation

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and month-end close activities.
• Prepare financial reports and review financials for assigned facilities.
• Perform full balance sheet reconciliations , including bank accounts and other GL accounts.
• Handle intercompany transactions, fixed asset analysis, and variance reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and reporting accuracy.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and full balance sheet reconciliations.
• Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
• A team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong sense of ownership.
