Job description
About this role
The CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist runs the system that turns marketing demand into sales opportunities. The role qualifies and routes incoming leads, keeps Salesforce data clean and usable, builds nurture programs, and operates the marketing scorecard that shows leadership what is creating demand and what happens to it.
This is an operating role, not a manual service desk. The specialist works inside a lifecycle and measurement design set by the VP Global Marketing and makes it run reliably, documents it, and improves it over time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead management and qualification
- Review and qualify incoming leads against the lead definitions agreed between Marketing and Sales.
- Route qualified leads to the right Sales owner according to routing rules, and track follow-up and outcome.
- Report on lead quality, response time, and disposition, and feed what is learned back into Marketing and Sales.
CRM data quality
- Maintain accurate customer, distributor, and lead records in Salesforce: required fields, duplicates, ownership, and lifecycle stage.
- Partner with IT / Salesforce support on field, workflow, and integration changes.
- Define and monitor data-quality checks, and fix issues at the source.
Lifecycle and nurture
- Maintain lifecycle stages from first contact through lead, qualified lead, and opportunity.
- Build and run segmented email and nurture programs as the email-system integration comes online in the first half of 2027.
- Test and improve nurture content and timing based on results.
Reporting and scorecard
- Operate the Global Marketing scorecard in Qlik, which connects GA4, Cloudflare, and Salesforce data, once version 1 is built.
- Prepare the monthly scorecard for leadership, check the data, and flag anomalies.
- Label evidence clearly: verified results, correlation, and hypotheses are reported differently.
Process and documentation
- Document lead definitions, routing rules, data standards, and scorecard logic so the system does not depend on any one person.
Identify manual work that can be automated and propose improvements.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience, including internships, in CRM, marketing operations, sales operations, or a similar data-driven role.
- Hands-on experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data.
- Detail-oriented and process-minded, with clear written communication and the confidence to work with Sales.
Preferred
- Salesforce administration exposure or Trailhead certifications.
- Experience with marketing automation (for example Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, HubSpot, or Marketo).
- Experience with dashboards or BI tools (Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau) and Google Analytics 4.
- Background in B2B, industrial, or distribution businesses.
