About the Position

The Collector Expo is a growing sports card, Pokémon, and collectibles event company hosting shows throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Event Operations Manager to oversee event setup and daily operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage staff, solve problems, and independently ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate physical event setup, including tables, chairs, signage, and equipment.
• Oversee vendor check-in, table assignments, and event logistics.
• Manage existing event staff and delegate responsibilities.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for vendors, staff, and venue management.
• Resolve operational issues and keep events running on schedule.
• Oversee event breakdown and cleanup.
• Communicate important updates and issues to company ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience in event operations, hospitality, management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Comfortable assisting with physical setup and supervising staff.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Availability for early mornings, weekends, and extended event days.

Schedule

This is a part-time, event-based position with recurring opportunities throughout the year. Shifts may begin as early as 4:00 AM and can last 12–15 hours, depending on the event.
