Full Stack Web Developer

We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the applications that support our daily business operations. This role works across our ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server environment while also contributing to modern front-end experiences, e-commerce functionality, and our ongoing cloud modernization efforts.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who is comfortable working in an established application environment and is curious about using modern tools — including AI-assisted development tools — to work efficiently and accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server applications supporting daily business operations
• Work directly with database-driven application logic, including queries, views, stored procedures, and related reporting or support processes
• Support and improve recurring scheduled jobs and other operational processes that keep business workflows running
• Build and maintain Shopify storefront features, custom Liquid components, and supporting webhook or API integrations
• Contribute to modern user experiences using React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS where appropriate
• Help define and implement pragmatic modernization steps, including improved service boundaries, API usage, deployment practices, and cloud-hosting patterns
• Participate in the company's AWS migration over time, beginning with lift-and-shift support and progressing to more modular application deployment approaches
• Use AI tools (such as Codex, Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate design, coding, debugging, and documentation, while independently validating accuracy and business fit
• Perform functional and regression testing, and validate releases before updates are deployed, with strong attention to quality and production stability
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, ask clarifying questions, and translate real operational needs into practical software solutions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building or supporting web applications
• Experience with Microsoft-based development stacks such as ASP.NET, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Confidence working in established application environments where application code, database logic, and integrations are closely connected
• Working knowledge of modern front-end and JavaScript development, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive UI implementation
• Experience consuming or supporting APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
• Ability to thoroughly test one's own work and think critically about edge cases, regressions, and production risk
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use AI coding and research tools effectively, including writing precise prompts, reviewing generated output, and correcting weak or incorrect results
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work productively in a fast-moving environment with fewer formal processes than a large enterprise team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify development, including Liquid templating and storefront customization
• Familiarity with React and Node.js in a production setting
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud-hosting platforms, particularly application migration efforts
• Experience improving or modernizing legacy systems incrementally
• Background working directly with business stakeholders in an operations-driven organization

Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
