Job description

About this role

We're a luxury real estate brokerage marketing some of the most beautiful mountain properties in the country — high-end homes in a premier resort market. We're looking for a designer who can make our creative live up to them.

This is an ongoing, part-time role — roughly 20-25 hours/week, with the potential for more during busy seasons. Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design & Print Production: Design weekly newspaper ads, digital ads, property brochures, listing collateral, postcards, event invitations, and presentation materials.
  • Digital Advertising: Create static and animated ads, campaign assets, and creative variations for different platforms and placements.
  • Social Media & Video Content: Develop branded graphics and templates, create property marketing assets, edit content for individual broker accounts, including Reels and short-form video, and support ongoing social media initiatives.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with newsletters, market reports, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Project Coordination: Manage multiple projects, track deadlines, communicate proactively, and ensure materials are accurate and delivered on time. This also includes coordinating weekly print and digital newspaper ads, communicating with brokers about ad placements, tracking ads run, and assisting with related billing.
  • Project Management: Use our designated project management system, which will most likely be Airtable, to track assignments, priorities, and deadlines.

Who we're looking for

You have a real eye for restraint. Our brand is understated, editorial, and quiet — think a well-designed magazine spread, not a busy flyer. Generous white space, considered typography, mountain and architectural photography that's allowed to breathe.

If your portfolio leans bold and loud, we're probably not the right fit, and that's okay.

You should be comfortable with:

  • Adobe Creative Suite — InDesign (required), Illustrator, Photoshop (preferred)
  • Canva — we build templates our in-house team can update, so you'll need to be fluent here too (required)
  • Motion/animation for digital ads (After Effects, Canva animation, or a similar tool — tell us what you use)
  • Print production: bleeds, CMYK, packaging files for a printer, working to publication specs
  • Working within an established brand guideline rather than reinventing it

Experience in luxury real estate, hospitality, travel, fashion, or another premium category is a big plus. So is being someone we don't have to chase — reliable turnaround and clear communication matter as much as the design work itself.

To apply, please include:

  • A portfolio or samples of your work — we especially want to see print pieces (ads, brochures, or editorial layouts) and any animated digital ads you've made.
  • Your general availability/turnaround time.

Applications without a portfolio won't be reviewed. Position pays $30/hour freelance; please only apply if you are ok with this hourly rate.

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

  • Please provide your general availability/turnaround time.
  • Please provide a list of the marketing software that you are proficient in

Experience:

  • Marketing: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: Remote
