Pediatric Physical Therapist Supervisor

Job Summary

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist Supervisor, you will complete physical therapy evaluations and oversee the plan of care for children on our treating physical therapy assistant's caseload. You'll provide support to our PTA by being available to answer questions, and help guide physical therapy treatment sessions.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and re-evaluations for our PTA's caseload.
• Provide supportive supervision to our PTA.
• Oversee pediatric patient care, evaluate progress, and support individualized treatment plans and care plans.
• Coach and collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, including discharge planning when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate physical therapy documentation in electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, following clinical documentation standards.
• Communicate clearly with clients and families about therapy goals, progress, and care recommendations.

Requirements

• Current ability to practice in a physical therapy role and experience supporting patient care
• Applicable licensure or credentials must meet local requirements.
• Knowledge of pediatrics, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience with treatment plan development, patient rehabilitation, and physical therapy documentation.
• Experience in an outpatient clinic is preferred.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 6.0 per week
