Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Travel Contract

Location: Marcy, NY

Duration: 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension for up to 2 years

Schedule: All shifts available, 5x8

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Start Date: Approximately 3–4 weeks after offer, pending state clearance

Openings: 3

Weekly Pay

Travel: $2,173/week ($57.95/hr)

Local: $1,978/week ($52.75/hr)

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse will conduct nursing assessments, obtain and document vital signs and health information, administer medications and prescribed treatments, and develop and modify nursing care plans.

Responsibilities also include monitoring patient conditions and treatment responses, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, conducting clinical rounds, educating patients and staff, implementing infection control procedures, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring medications, supplies, and equipment meet nursing care standards.
