Senior React.js Developer / Front-End Lead- (Only W2)

Below is the Job Summary Job Role/Title: Senior React.js Developer / Front-End Lead- (Only W2) Contract-12-month contract Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Senior React.js Developer / Front-End Lead with strong expertise in modern front-end technologies, UI architecture, and scalable web application development.

The ideal candidate will lead front-end design and development, establish coding standards, drive technical decisions, and communicate solutions effectively to business and technical stakeholders. The candidate must be comfortable working in a hybrid model, with at least three days per week onsite in Whippany, New Jersey.

Job Description: 12+ years of relevant experience Core Languages: Strong proficiency in React.js, its core principles, lifecycle methods, and modern React Hooks. Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.

React Ecosystem

Strong command of functional components, React Hooks, lifecycle patterns, and meta-frameworks like Next.js.

Language Mastery

Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and the JavaScript object model.

Styling Tools

Experience with modern CSS workflows, including CSS Modules, Styled Components, Tailwind CSS, or preprocessors like Sass/Less.

Build & Tooling

Familiarity with modern bundlers and build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and npm/Yarn.

Build Ecosystem

Familiarity with front-end build tools and pipelines such as Vite, Webpack, Babel, and package managers like npm or Yarn .

Version Control

Professional experience with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.

Security & Auth

Basic understanding of front-end security practices and authentication standards (e.g., JSON Web Tokens) Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.

Version Control & CI/CD

Proficiency in Git/GitHub and automated deployment pipelines.
