About this role

Customer Success Manager ----------------------------

Cloud Capital is redefining how CFOs and engineers manage cloud costs. We’re seeking a Customer Success Manager to support customers throughout their journey, from onboarding to long-term growth and success.

This is a foundational role in a fast-growing startup, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing environment and wants to shape how we engage, retain, and grow our customer base as we scale.

About the Role

You’ll own end-to-end customer relationships for our cloud cost optimisation platform. Responsibilities include guiding non-technical onboarding, running regular check-ins, and serving as the main contact for customer finance and operations teams. You’ll also lead quarterly finance-focused reviews with CFOs and senior stakeholders to help customers optimise cloud spend.

As an early hire in customer success, you’ll help build and improve our processes, shape best practices, and directly influence how we deliver value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own post-sale customer relationships and be the main point of contact for finance and operations teams.
  • Run regular customer calls and quarterly business reviews with finance leaders, articulating value and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with customers to drive efficiency, better reporting, and cost transparency.
  • Maintain accurate account health data to ensure customers gain value from the platform.
  • Proactively identify retention risks and address them.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to meet customer needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS, with a record of success in Customer Success or Account Management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to forge strategic partnerships.
  • Background or familiarity with AWS, Finance, FinOps, or cloud infrastructure is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communicator and natural business partner to customers.
  • Comfortable engaging finance stakeholders and interpreting cost data.
  • Excellent documentation, CRM, and project coordination skills.
  • Curious, coachable, and eager to help build a new function from scratch.

Why Join Cloud Capital?

We’re solving one of SaaS’s biggest challenges: giving CFOs the tools to manage and optimise cloud spend without commitment risk. Backed by $7.7M from top investors, our platform empowers finance leaders with visibility, control, and savings—without rigid deals. Used by VC-backed startups spending millions on cloud, we offer a unique solution in a huge and growing market.

This is a career-defining opportunity: leadership-level base, meaningful equity, full benefits, and the chance to shape a breakout company from day one.

How We

Work:

  • Truth over consensus—we uncover the facts fast
  • Healthy debate—challenge ideas, align, and commit
  • Bias for action—learn by doing
  • Ownership—see it, fix it, share it
