Physician Assistant

City Orthopaedics & Spine Medicine (COSM) is a busy orthopaedic and sports medicine practice with three North Jersey offices, led by Dr. Oladapo Babatunde, MD, FAAOS, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. We're a small, fast-moving team that uses AI to work smarter.

We're growing and adding a third Physician Assistant who wants real responsibility in clinic and the OR. New graduates are welcome to apply.

What you'll do:

• See new and returning orthopaedic and sports medicine patients: history, exam, imaging review, diagnosis, and treatment plans
• First-assist Dr. Babatunde in surgery at partner hospitals and surgery centers
• Handle follow-ups, post-op visits, injections, and in-office procedures
• Write clear, timely clinical notes and documentation for prior authorizations and appeals
• Work closely with our front desk, back office, authorization, and surgical teams so patients move smoothly from visit to surgery to recovery
• Use AI tools daily for documentation, research, and workflow

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited PA program; NCCPA certified (PA-C)
• Active New Jersey PA license, or license in progress
• DEA and NJ CDS registration, or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) every day
• Able to work in person and rotate across all three offices, with reliable transportation

Nice to have:

• Orthopaedic, sports medicine, or surgical PA experience (new grads welcome)
• OR first-assist experience
• EHR experience (DrChrono a plus)
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Schedule and locations:

• Full-time, in person, rotating between East Rutherford (196 Paterson Ave, Suite 302), West Orange (443 Northfield Ave, Unit 203), and Paramus (37 W Century Rd, Suite 111), plus OR days
• Compensation: $150,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience
• Benefits: paid time off and paid sick time
