We are looking for a self-motivated, technology-focused, relationship driven professional who is ready to help power the work that maintains financial trust to our community.

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financials by supporting the City’s accounting and business functions; including a strong focus on grant administration and compliance, managing complex reconciliations, preparing financial and grant reports, and supporting accounts receivable activities.

You’ll partner directly with departmental staff across the organization to ensure financial integrity and deliver accurate and timely financial information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSGraduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in accounting; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority. CPA (certified public accountant) designation is mandatory for the C43 level position.
