About this role
Dermatology Nurse Practitioner
Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult & Cosmetic Care
Bilingual English/Spanish Strongly Preferred
Overview
Ciocca Dermatology is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing medical and cosmetic dermatology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider who enjoys caring for children, adolescents, and adults and wants to build or expand a career in dermatology.
Because we serve a large and diverse Spanish-speaking patient population, the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is strongly recommended. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Our practice maintains a high patient volume. Candidates must feel comfortable managing a busy daily schedule efficiently while continuing to provide safe, thorough, and compassionate care to every patient.
We are also looking for someone with a genuine interest in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. We welcome candidates who are already fully experienced in cosmetic treatments, as well as motivated providers who are eager to receive training, develop their skills, and grow within this area of the practice.
Dermatology and cosmetic experience are preferred but not required. The right candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, a commitment to learning, and a passion for delivering an excellent patient experience.
This is a full-time position primarily based at our South Miami location, with occasional support at our Hallandale Beach office when needed.
Duties

- Develop individualized medical and cosmetic treatment plans
- Perform dermatologic procedures within the provider’s training and approved scope of practice
- Participate in cosmetic consultations and treatments based on experience, training, and clinical privileges
- Educate cosmetic patients regarding treatment options, realistic expectations, pre-care, and post-care instructions
- Provide appropriate follow-up after medical and cosmetic treatments
- Educate patients, parents, and caregivers about diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Review laboratory and pathology results and communicate necessary follow-up
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, aestheticians, and the administrative team
- Deliver a compassionate, professional, and patient-centered experience
- Maintain efficiency and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Participate in continued medical and cosmetic dermatology training
- Support the continued growth and high clinical standards of the practice

- Experienced cosmetic injectors and providers are strongly encouraged to apply
- Ability to connect with children and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume practice
- Dependable, professional, compassionate, and team-oriented
We are seeking more than someone who can simply see patients. We want a provider who is kind, motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about making every patient feel heard and cared for.
