Salary: $75–$95 per hour
Schedule: Contract | Flexible Caseload
Position Overview
A growing Early Intervention agency is seeking a NYS-licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist to provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment to children from birth to age three in Boro Park, Kensington, Flatbush, and Park Slope. This contract role offers a flexible caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children’s everyday environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 evaluation and treatment sessions
- Deliver services in the child’s home, daycare, or another natural environment
- Develop and follow individualized treatment plans aligned with Early Intervention goals
- Document each session and coordinate with the child’s care team
Qualifications
- Current New York State Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist license
- Specific experience working with children under age five; general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient
- Comfort providing services in home- and daycare-based settings
- One year or more of experience specifically with young children is preferred; experienced candidates new to this age group may be considered for mentorship.
