**About the Role**
We are seeking an **Occupational Therapist (OT)** for a 13\-week contract opportunity in Hayward. The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation services focused on helping patients improve independence, functional abilities, mobility, and performance of activities of daily living.
**Responsibilities**
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response and rehabilitation goals.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and safe functional strategies.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation and nursing teams.
**Requirements**
- Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications Required.
- Ability to Provide Occupational Therapy Services in a Post\-Acute / Rehabilitation Setting Required.
- Strong Patient Assessment, Treatment Planning, and Rehabilitation Skills Required.
- Strong Communication, Documentation, and Interdisciplinary Collaboration Skills Required.
- Ability to Work the Assigned Day Schedule of 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Required.
