Educationand Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; a minimum of High School graduate or equivalent
• Must have 5 years in administrative and supervisory work
• Must be able to obtain a Notary Public (Center pays for Notary fee)
• Experience and education may be substituted for one another
• Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable

Job Purpose:

• Oversees and directs the employment, benefit programs, staff development, employee relations and disciplinary activities of the Center
• Serves as Center representative in legal matters related to employment issues
• Work is performed under general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer with extensive latitude for the exercise of discretion and independent judgement

Job Function:

• Process job postings and hire packets
• Process new employee's clearance and reports
• Coordinates Exit Interviews
• Represents the Center with respect to Human Resource issues for purpose of responding to TWC Claims, EEOC Claims, Lawsuits, etc.
• Coordinates Health/Dental Insurance functions
• Oversees/Coordinates Staff Development Training
• Promotes effective training and understanding of HR issues
